Gov. Tim Pawlenty says he'd have no problem getting the H1N1,anti-swine flu vaccine but hasn't gotten it yet.

"I have had a regular seasonal flu shot...some weeks ago. I have not received an H1N1 shot. I would like to get one but I'm only going to do that when and if it's my turn. I'm certainly not going to make any extraordinary efforts to get one in the near term," Pawlenty said this morning.

Recent polling has found that some fear the H1N1 vaccine, thinking it too new or untested. Pawlenty joined with doctors and experts across the country in saying such fears are unfounded.

"I think the weight of the science in that regard indicates that the vaccine is safe and people who are trusted on behalf of our country to make those judgments ...have said it's a safe vaccine," the governor said. "I would certainly feel comfortable getting one myself and I would certainly feel comfortable having my family get it as well."
