Nine-Man semifinals Grand Meadow 21, Kittson County Central 7

Recap: Grand Meadow seniors Landon Jacobson and Trenton Bleifus ran for touchdowns in the second quarter as the Superlarks defeated previously unbeaten Kittson County Central 21-7. Grand Meadow opened the second half with a drive that ended on quarterback Bleifus' 20-yard touchdown pass to Michael Stejskal to extend the lead to 21-0. Kittson County Central scored its only touchdown late in the fourth quarter on Drew Olsonawski's 49-yard pass to Fernando Blanco. Grand Meadow took the ensuing kickoff and ran more than four minutes off the clock to keep the Bearcats offense off the field, sealing the victory.

Key of the game: Jacobson, who ran for 202 yards on 33 carries and scored two touchdowns. Jacobson also had eight tackles on defense.

One thing to know: Kittson County Central had 219 yards passing to Grand Meadow's 98. Grand Meadow outgained Kittson County Central on the ground, 257-47.
