Best of burlesque Forget the Vikings; this sounds like the Super Bowl of burlesque shows. More than 75 performers! Four shows! Enough burlesque to make your eyes bulge! Lili's Revue is back with its third annual "The Best of Midwest Burlesk Festival" at the Ritz Theater in northeast Minneapolis. They're describing it as a "theatrical casserole of vaudevillian treats" that will include singing, dancing, comedy and -- of course -- burlesque. The large cast of characters includes two winners of past Exotic World burlesque pageants. Tickets are selling fast.

Helping Haiti The club scene continues its support of the relief effort in Haiti. On Friday at Envy, proceeds from the door will benefit victims of the earthquake. You've probably already heard about two big benefits at First Avenue (Solid Gold on Feb. 6 and a Rhymesayers-led show on Feb. 9). On Feb. 6, 414 Soundbar will take donations of money and clothes, plus hold a silent auction. If clubbing isn't your thing, Pangea World Theater is hosting a benefit on Saturday featuring various spoken-word poets.
