Disappearing Buddha

Eat Street Buddha Kitchen & Lounge has gone belly up. Apparently, the Asian fusion copycat joint that moved into Thom Pham’s former Azia space in south Minneapolis couldn’t rekindle Azia’s cranberry wonton-stoked glory days. Eat Street Buddha’s online presence has vanished like a ghost, but let’s hope would-be tenants aren’t spooked by the dreaded “cursed space” chatter.

Based in Steel Toe’s St. Louis Park brewery, Millers and Saints launched its debut vodka last week. Whiskey plans are in the works. The family affair is led by brothers-in-law Joe Muggli and Jason Schoneman (Steel Toe’s brewer), and their father-in-law Ron Olney.
