Time has been good to Brit's Pub. The Nicollet Mall establishment started as a two-room bar in 1990 and has grown to a three-level behemoth with the best rooftop lawn around. Brit's will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a week of events and specials starting Saturday. There's a lot to do, such as a St. Crispin's Day bash (7:30 p.m. Sat.) and a trivia night focusing on 1990 (7:30 p.m. Tue.). On Oct. 29, the cost of pints will be knocked back to 1990 pricing ($3.25). It looks like Oct. 30 will be the big night with a costume party featuring Solid Gold as Oasis, plus more music by E.L.nO. and DJ Jake Rudh.

On the comedy front, the promoters have gathered a strong trio of comics in Nicholas Anthony, Erik Allen and Gabe Noah. And, of course, the models are local, too.
