Nick Lowe is a frequent guest to the Twin Cities, but he usually flies solo. Not this time around. For the first time in over a decade, the legendary songwriter brought a band -and the company served him well. Lowe seemed fresher, peppier and more enthusiastic than he has in recent years. Here's the set list from Wednesday night's show at the Dakota:

1) People Change (solo)

2) All Men Are Liars (solo)

3) What's Shakin' on the Hill (solo)

4) What Lack of Love Has Done

5) Ragin' Eyes

6) Lately I've Let Things Slide

7) Does She Have a Friend

8) Trained Her to Love Me

9) I Live on the Battlefield

10) Indian Queens

11) Cruel to be Kind

12) You Inspire Me

13) Long-Limbed Girl

14) It's Raining

15) Soulful Wind

16) Without Love

17) I Knew the Bride

18) Peace, Love and Understanding

19) Hound Dog
