NEWCOMERS TO SYNDICATION

Bonnie Hunt isn't the only one getting into the syndication hunt. Here are some more newcomers to the scene:

"Judge Karen": Florida judge Karen Mills-Francis settles small-claim matters with discipline, humor and her one-of-a-kind personality. 1 and 1:30 p.m. weekdays, WUCW, Ch. 23.

"Judge Jeanine Pirro": New York judge Jeanine Pirro settles small-claim matters with discipline, humor and her one-of-a-kind personality. 3 p.m. weekdays, WUCW, Ch. 23.

"Deal or No Deal": Howie Mandel hosts a daytime version with smaller potlucks and fewer models, but just as much excitement, especially if you're really, really into briefcases. 6 and 6:30 p.m. weekdays, WUCW, Ch. 23.

"The Doctors": Four top-rated physicians, including former "Bachelor" Travis Stork, offer office hours on a daily basis, doling out free advice on everything from plastic surgery to remote-control elbow. 3 p.m. weekdays, KARE, Ch. 11.

"Trivial Pursuit": The popular board game comes alive with an opportunity for certain viewers to compete from home. No word yet on whether there will be a special wedge dedicated to "Brady Bunch" knowledge, a nod to host Christopher "Peter" Knight. 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. KSTC, Ch. 45, weekdays starting Sept. 22.

"Legend of the Seeker": "Spider-Man" director Sam Raimi attempts to weave a new mythology series that can match the magic -- and moola -- of "Xena" and "Hercules." Based on both the "Sword of Truth" novels and my freshman year of college. 6 p.m. Sundays, KSTC, Ch. 45 and 11:30 p.m. Sundays, KSTP, Ch. 11, starting Nov. 2.
