Three new Twin Cities-connected websites offer daily deals on products and services, many from local businesses. All you have to do is sign up and bookmark them.

DealStork: This Eden Prairie-based site pitches a daily deal that requires a minimum number of takers to become valid. Sample deals are a $4.30 medium Blizzard at the Dairy Queen near the University of Minnesota for $2.15, and $20 in food and drinks at Red's Savoy Pizza in Uptown for $10. You're only charged for the commitment price if the minimum is met. Once the deal is valid, you can print out a voucher to redeem the offer.

Groupon: This new site is based in Chicago, but you sign up for deals by metro area, including the Twin Cities. Like DealStork, a minimum number of people must participate before the deal kicks in. Today's deal is $35 in food at Nalapak Indian Restaurant in Minneapolis for $15. Besides other local restaurants, recent deals have included a dual annual membership at Walker Art Center for $35 ($70 value) and admission to Underwater Adventures at Mall of America for $10 ($21 value).

Tablespoon: Golden Valley-based General Mills is behind this new recipe site, which also offers a load of coupons each day. Just print out the ones you want. Sample coupons include $1 off Keebler Town House Flipsides Crackers and $2 off NIVEA Body Wash for Women.
