A 35-year-old man from New Ulm, Minn., was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash in southern Minnesota's Brown County, according to the State Patrol.
Joseph W. Giardina was driving a 2007 Lincoln MRK east on County Road 25 when it collided with a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado being driven south on County Road 13 by Bryan K. Thornton, 46, of Madelia, Minn. The Lincoln then rolled over. The crash was reported at 5:13 p.m.
Giardina died at the scene, the patrol said. Thornton, who was wearing a seat belt and on whom no alcohol was detected, suffered noncritical injuries, the patrol said. That information for Giardina was not available late Wednesday.
