New class at the U teaches students how to design toys

A new class taught by the co-creator of the Nerf Atom Blaster aims to teach students how to design and prototype their own ideas for toys.

Do you have dreams of designing the next holiday hit toy like Squinkies?

A new class at the University of Minnesota aims to teach students how to design and prototype their own ideas for toys. The class is taught by Barry Kudrowitz, an assistant professor and co-creator of the Nerf Atom Blaster.

Students will get together in teams of five to six people to design and prototype toys. During the semester, students will test their concepts at the Minnesota Children's Museum.
