A wildfire in Nevada led Friday to changes and uncertainty in the schedule for the Subway Classic women's basketball tournament this weekend at Williams Arena.
The Nevada team was unable to fly out of Reno on Friday because of a wildfire fueled by high winds. The Wolf Pack is scheduled to fly out Saturday afternoon, but that flight could be affected by the fire, too.
The Gophers will play their 1 p.m. Saturday game against Binghamton as scheduled, and Nevada will play North Dakota State at 8 p.m. if it is able to travel Saturday morning. If Nevada is unable to travel Saturday morning, it would play the Gophers at 7 p.m. Sunday. A game between Binghamton and North Dakota State would begin at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. If Nevada is unable to travel Sunday, the Gophers would play North Dakota State at 2 p.m. Sunday.
