Today's daily deal from the Star Tribune is carpet cleaning from Carpet Clean. I've used their service before and have written about carpet cleaning. Even though the company uses non-toxic, biodegradable agents, I found the quality of cleaning to be excellent.
Don't assume that the $49.50 will cover all of your carpeted areas, but at least Carpet Clean gives you an estimate before they start cleaning.
If you're unhappy with the service of any carpet cleaner, ask them to come back at no charge to rectify it.
By the way, winter is an excellent time of year to hire a carpet cleaner. humidity levels are low and the carpet dries faster.
