Coming to America

In "Saints & Strangers," a two-part miniseries that reminds us the Pilgrims suffered far worse than "Survivor" contestants, does an admirable job of capturing the early settlers' hardships and complicated relationship with American Indians. It also suggests all too often that the visitors spent more time screaming at each other than foraging for food.
