How much do viewers want to ease on down the road with a second-tier musical? NBC will gauge viewer interest in a production featuring mostly unfamiliar tunes in the heavily hyped three-hour "The Wiz Live!" The presence of Queen Latifah and Ne-Yo will help, but those stars aren't anywhere near the level of Diana Ross and Michael Jackson, who starred in the 1978 film. 7 p.m. KARE, Ch. 11

The testosterone level hits the top of the charts in "Best Seller," the 1987 film in which James Woods and Brian Dennehy compete to see who has the bigger pen.
