DIFFERENCE MAKER

Victor Oladipo, Indiana

The 6-5 junior can beat teams offensively (13.6 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 2.1 apg) or defensively by shutting down the opponent's best scorer. He's simply one of the nation's best all-around players.

Most eye-catching stat: He hit an amazing — for a guard — 59.9 percent of his shots from the field this season.

THREE STORY LINES

[ 1 ] Miami (Fla.) won the ACC regular-season and tournament titles but failed to get a No. 1 seed. That should give the Hurricanes extra incentive if they face No. 1 East seed Indiana.

[ 2 ] Butler played in the 2010 and 2011 national title games, losing to UConn and Duke. A third run in four years is possible.

[ 3 ] Senior guard Khalif Wyatt makes Temple a tough team to play in the tourney. Wyatt averaged 19.8 points and 4.1 assists, scoring 30 or more points three times since Feb. 2.
