National retail conference starts in NYC

After a lukewarm holiday selling season, America's retailers are flocking to New York City this week for The National Retail Federation's annual conference that starts Monday.

Retailers will be looking to learn or showcase ways they can use smartphone technology, fun apps and select price matching to increase sales in 2013.

Minnesota-retail giants Best Buy and Target will be looking to boost sales after a less than robust end to 2012.
