Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf wins volleyball title.

The Minnesota State Deaf Academy for the Deaf volleyball team has captured its third consecutive Division II National Deaf Championship. MSAD learned of its distinction this week when the National Deaf Interscholastic Athletics Association released its fall sports awards.

Earning individual honors were Michele Heise (Coach of the Year), Cindy Siebert (First Team All-America setter), Molly Perkins (Second Team All-America outside hitter), Rachel Novella (Second Team All-America middle blocker) and Payton Brown (Honorable Mention outside hitter).
