Going through the 1960 Survey project, I found this picture. It's heartening:
Almost everything is still there. The little white-edged building in the background middle was town down for a parking ramp, but everything survives. The detail below, however, mystified. I'm not a car expert, so I can't identify the model. Looks like a pug version of a Beetle. The hood's wrong for a Volks, right? The grill's wrong. Any ideas?
