Former Republican legislator Pam Myhra announced last evening that she was ending her candidacy for Congress in Minnesota's Second Congressional District.

In a statement released by her campaign, Myhra said after "reviewing my campaign's month-end fundraising report and being adamantly opposed to deficit spending" she decided with her family to end her campaign.

Myhra was hoping to replace Congressman John Kline, who announced last September he would not seek re-election to Congress.
