SUMMER SET FESTIVAL

Friday-next Sunday: The Upper Midwest's largest electronic dance music festival — and only about half its performers are in that genre — Summer Set has its biggest name yet for an EDM-brand headliner: Deadmau5, the Toronto-bred house DJ whose mouse head adorned the cover of Rolling Stone last year. He tops off next Sunday's lineup with South Africa's oddball techno-rap duo Die Antwoord, while Saturday boasts sax/drums/electronics innovators Big Gigantic and R&B/electro-pop singer the Weeknd. Friday features the fest's other big-name EDM maker, Bassnectar. Other acts through the weekend will include rappers Earl Sweatshirt, Ghostface Killah, G-Easy and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony; electronic indie-rockers Tune-Yards, Purity Ring and Odesza, and more EDM faves such as Thievery Corporation and Tycho. (3 p.m. Fri-next. Sun. $189.50 for three-day ticket, $74.50 for a single day. Somerset Amphitheater, Somerset, Wis. summersetfestival.com.)

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
