Miss Muppets? Just wait: Exhibitor Relations is reporting that Disney will be rolling out a new Muppet movie in 2011. No name or story yet, but "Here's a Big Muppet Movie" would be enough to get people back in the theaters. It will also replace the traditional beloved felt puppets with CGI, will be shown in IMAX 3D, and is described as a "gritty, dark reboot." Kidding! It will be felt-based and sunny as ever.

Also: Early Jim Henson work discovered on walled-up pipes at NBC. For Muppet fans, this is like the discovery of prehistoric cave paintings. Here's a piece from yesterday's "Today" on the exhibit of the whimsical pipe decorations, guided by Frank Oz.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
