Join us as we celebrate food and mystery with a showing of "North by Northwest" at the Heights Theater in Columbia Heights.

In this 1959 Alfred Hitchcock thriller, considered one of the greatest films of all time, Cary Grant plays a Madison Avenue adman mistaken for another and framed for murder. Planes, trains and a brook trout dinner follow as he tries to escape those chasing him, with the help of Eva Marie Saint.

The show starts earlier, though, when Harvey Gustafson plays food tunes on the theater's amazing Wurlitzer organ. There will be door prizes, too. Hope to see you! And lock in those tickets. This is always a sold-out event.

When: Oct. 7.

Where: Heights Theater, 3951 Central Av. NE., Columbia Heights.

Time: 7 p.m. music; 7:30 p.m. movie.

Tickets: $8; available in advance at the theater or online at heightstheater.com.
