A motorist slammed into a tree south of St. Cloud and was found dead in the fiery wreckage, authorities said Tuesday.
The crash occurred shortly after 1 p.m. Monday on County Road 75 as it runs parallel to Interstate 94 near E. 221st Street in Lynden Township, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities have not addressed the circumstances leading up to the crash.
The identity of the victim has yet to be released.
