U2's concert promoter has found more room for fans on the field for the band's June 27 gig at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Live Nation put a limited number of general-admission tickets on sale today at 1 p.m. for $55 apiece plus fees (typically about $12). All of these tickets are for access onto the field, which will be set up as a standing-room-only area for thousands of fans. Click here to get to Ticketmaster.
U2's mega-show was declared sold out within two hours of the 50,000-plus tickets going on sale Nov. 21. These new tickets opened up as organizers more closely determined the layout of the stage and audience for the inaugural concert at the new Gopher football stadium.
