GOALS

• Address existing and forecast needs for safety, size, and movement

• Preserve the corridor as a future "principal arterial," a major thoroughfare, as outlined in Scott County's 2030 plan

• Guide future property development, deciding things like access to the roadway

• Determine future right-of-way needs for the entire corridor

• Prepare preliminary design from the east county line to Hwy. 13

• Recommend road improvement projects for five to 15 years

TIMELINE

WINTER/SPRING 2012

Evaluate issues and needs; identify solutions; develop alternatives

SUMMER 2012

Hold open house; evaluate and refine alternatives; develop recommendations

FALL 2012

Hold open house; present findings to local officials; finalize study
