Modern brides buck convention and express their own style

In this year of female empowerment, more brides are eschewing traditional white dresses and turning to styles that let them express themselves. Color enters the picture, making the march down the aisle more vibrant than ever. Overly constricting or too-poufy styles are out the window, with more manageable silhouettes taking the lead. That doesn't mean looks aren't feminine; there are plenty of pretty touches in materials and accessories. But it does mean brides are bold, walking into the future with confidence.
