DES MOINES, Iowa — A mixed martial arts fighter has pleaded guilty to reduced charges stemming from a bar fight in Des Moines.

The Des Moines Register says (http://dmreg.co/13CVKvB) 27-year-old Jeremy Stephens was given 15 days on two convictions, which he's already served. Other charges were dropped in exchange for his pleas earlier this week.

Stephens was taken into custody last October in Minneapolis on an Iowa arrest warrant stemming from the case. His arrest occurred just hours before a nationally televised Ultimate Fighting Championship match, which he missed.

Authorities say the bar fight occurred Oct. 15, 2011, at Fat Tony's in Des Moines. Stephens and Dustin Bachman were accused of punching a man in the bar. Bachman pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation and a $750 fine.
