Gophers quarterback Mitch Leidner, who has been cleared from the concussion protocol, appears set to start Saturday's homecoming game against Rutgers.

Leidner led the team out of the tunnel and took snaps with the first-team offense during warmups.

Thomas served with restraining order

There are actually six Gophers players who've been served with restraining orders, keeping them from TCF Bank Stadium. The sixth name is Kiondre Thomas, a freshman cornerback who has yet to play this season. Thomas, like the other five, is being represented by attorney Lee Hutton. The six players have a hearing Tuesday, where Hutton expects the restraining orders to be overturned.
