Missouri and Minnesota: same formula, different results

The Tigers use a guard-heavy lineup, and have dealt with an ACL and a transfer. But they're No. 4 in the country.

Structurally, there's a team in college basketball that is very similar to the Gophers.

Missouri uses a four-guard lineup and lost significant contributors to 1) a transfer and 2) an ACL tear Of course, there's a pretty big difference too. While Minnesota is currently tied for eighth in the Big Ten, Missouri has climbed up the ladder to No. 4 in the country. In today's Star Tribune, I take a look at just how the Tigers have taken that formula and made it so successful.
