A 24-year-old Hastings woman has not surfaced since she walked out of a St. Paul hospital in mid-December and left behind her money, possessions and identification, authorities said.

Nikole R. Sherry left Regions Hospital on Dec. 17 and was wearing a red sweatshirt, powder blue pajama pants and shoes, according to Hastings police.

Police added that they are concerned for her safety because it's unusual for her to not be in touch with family and she may be in need of medical attention.

Sherry is described as American Indian and white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo on her right arm that reads "Lamika," with a crown above.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call police at 651-322-2323 or 911.
