EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. — Searchers have found the body of an 11-year-old boy from East Grand Forks who had been missing for about 24 hours.
The Grand Forks Herald reports Thursday that Anthony Kuznia's body was found in the Red River near the Lincoln Park Golf Course in Grand Forks (http://bit.ly/1choDAJ ). He had gone missing from his rural East Grand Forks home at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
A huge search party combed the area around his home starting soon after he was reported missing. The search continued through the night and into the early morning, then resumed around 8 a.m. Thursday.
More than 400 volunteers had signed up to search on Thursday.
