Ann Theresa Lindholm, an 80-year-old with dementia, has been found safe after she was reported missing from her south Minneapolis home in the early morning hours on Saturday, police said Saturday afternoon.
She was located after a shopper in a neighborhood grocery store noticed that she had been in the store a couple of hours, police and a 911 supervisor said.
She was doing just fine, was checked out by paramedics and reunited with her family, said John Elder, a police spokesman.
The worry about Lindholm had been heightened because she'd gone out sometime after 3:30 a.m., when temperatures were in the teens.
Officers from a several agencies were involved in the search.
