Country star Miranda Lambert, who has won more trophies than her increasingly famous husband Blake Shelton of NBC's "The Voice," will headline Target Center on April 20. That's a big jump from Mystic Lake Casino, where she last headlined in 2009.

Of course, since then, Lambert won the Country Music Association Award for album of the year (for "Revolution"), song and video of the year ("The House That Built Me") and female vocalist of the year (in 2010 and 2011). She also collected a Grammy for best female country vocal performance for "The House That Built Me" Moreover, her 2011 album, "Four the Record," reached No. 1 on the country charts. And she and Shelton sang "America the Beautfiul" before this year's Super Bowl.

Lambert's last Twin Cities gig was opening for Brad Paisley at Xcel Energy Center in January 2010. Do you think she's ready to headline an arena?

Opening for Lambert's On Fire Tour are Chris Young, the voice behind the country charttopping "You," and Jerrod Niemann, who went to No. 1 with "Lover Lover."

Tickets, priced at $38.75 and $51.75 (including general admission on the floor), will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Target Center box office, ticketmaster.com and 1-800-745-3000.
