The Marvin Companies said Monday that it has purchased Denver-based TruStile Doors for an undisclosed amount.

TruStile, founded in 1995, makes made-to-order architectural stile and rail doors for high-end residential and commercial construction markets. It has about 300 employees — 200 in its Denver headquarters and nearly 100 work in Iowa.

Officials at Marvin, which is based in Warroad, Minn., said TruStile's customized approach and commitment to quality products matched that of their family-owned company.

Both companies' products are purchased by custom builders and contractors through a national network of independent building products distributors and dealers.

"TruStile is an outstanding company with a proven track record of quality and craftsmanship that aligns with our values and premier positioning in the marketplace," said Dan Marvin, Marvin's vice president of business development. "The addition of TruStile to our family of brands will expand our product portfolio into other building products categories, and will allow us to combine our knowledge and resources to take advantage of new opportunities that will grow all of our brands successfully."
