By popular demand, Vikings fans will get another chance to buy personalized pavers for the plaza at U.S. Bank Stadium, the team announced Thursday.

Some 14,500 "Legacy Bricks" already have been purchased and placed near the ship on the ground near the Vikings longship replica with the curved video board on the southwest end of Medtronic Plaza.

A team spokesman said some 1,800 fans already are on a waiting list to purchase pavers. It wasn't clear how many new pavers would be sold, but the ship's footprint will be expanded to make room.

Fans get to decide what will be written on their bricks. The pavers sell for $160, $295 or $360. The more expensive bricks have more surface space and lines for writing. A keepsake replica of the paver is sent to every purchaser.

"Skol Vikings," family names and memorials have been popular choices. Some have even been used to propose marriage. Bricks can be ordered by calling 844-662-7425, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

The new bricks will be installed by summer.

The last round of bricks raised $1.6 million with proceeds going into the surrounding plaza, according to Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority spokeswoman Jenn Hathaway.
