While Rodney Williams, Austin Hollins and Joe Coleman were combining for ZERO points in Wednesday night's Minnesota loss at Nebraska, a pair of ex-Gophers were having big nights for their new teams.
Tubby Smith-transfers Colton Iverson and Justin Cobbs combined for 53 points. Iverson scored a career high of 29 as Colorado State went to Wyoming and ruined that school's Senior Night in a 78-56 victory.
Matt L. Stephens of the Coloradan.com wrote: "Wednesday was Senior Night for Wyoming, but CSU must not have received the memo. Iverson dominated in the paint for Colorado State University, tying a Mountain West single-game record for baskets without a miss, as the Rams cruised to a 78-56 victory."

Meanwhile, Cobbs scored 24 points for Cal in an 83-71 loss to Stanford. Here's the game report from the San Francisco Chronicle.
Big gulp.
