In what will come as a surprise to almost no one, both Minnesota senators have indicated they will vote in favor of Solicitor General Elena Kagan's nomination to the Supreme Court.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar even admitted to the lack of drama surrounding her decision, telling Congress Daily: "Obviously, you know how I am going to vote."

Sen. Al Franken also has confirmed his "yea" vote.

Klobuchar and Franken were two of the first five Democratic senators to publicly support Kagan's confirmation, according to National Journal's tally. Nine Republicans have said they will vote no.

But Kagan is widely expected to be confirmed to the Court, as analysts predict she will get somewhere between 60 and 70 votes in the senate.

The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote next week on Kagan after Republicans were granted a one-week delay. The full senate should vote sometime before the August recess.
