St. Cloud native Alise Post was named to the U.S. Olympic team on Sunday after earning a bronze medal at the International Cycling Union's BMX world championships in Medellin, Colombia.

St. Cloud native Alise Post was named to the U.S. Olympic team on Sunday after earning a bronze medal at the International Cycling Union's BMX world championships in Medellin, Colombia.

Post finished in 42.861 seconds, 1.476 seconds behind five-time world champ Mariana Pajon of Colombia. Australia's Caroline Buchanan was second. Post, 25, finished on the world championships podium for the third time.

Post was 12th in women's BMX at the 2012 Olympics.
