Minnesota United FC signed forward Christian Ramirez for the 2014 North American Soccer League season.
The 6-2 Californian played for Concordia University in Irvine, Calif., and had 44 goals and 18 assists in his career. He was an NAIA All-America selection in 2012.
He played for the Charlotte Eagles of the USL PRO in 2013, scoring 12 goals in 26 matches. He trained with United last year after the Eagles' season ended.
"We feel he has a ton of potential and he is going to add a lot to the attack of our team," United coach Manny Lagos said.
"I'm really excited to get back to Minnesota and put on the uniform," Ramirez said. "I'm really thankful for the coaching staff for believing in me and bringing me on board and can't wait to see some of the guys I've met."
