Vikings sign DT

The Vikings signed defensive tackle Bruce Gaston, 24, who had stints with the Cardinals, Patriots and Dolphins along with two NFC North rivals.

He appeared in two games with the Packers last season and seven with the Bears and is listed as 6-2 and 310 pounds.

Gaston was signed after the Vikings waived second-year defensive tackle B.J. Dubose, who tore an anterior cruciate ligament in one of his knees during last Wednesday's OTA, with an injured designation.

If Dubose clears waivers, he likely will revert to injured reserve, keeping him under team control.
