Plymouth native Kirsten Gronfield, a talented improv actress, hasn't had a lot of big breaks since her underrated TBS comedy, "10 Items or Less," was canceled in 2009. But she recently got the opportunity to act in front of over 100 milllion viewers. That's because she featured in Toyota's Super Bowl commercial, the one in which Kaley Cuoco portrays a fairy who grants wishes to a "lucky" family (she played the mom).

"It was awesome," said Gronfield, who lives in Los Angeles where she's currently auditioning for pilot season. "My phone ran out of juice about two seconds after it aired because everyone was calling me."

Gronfield said the ad took four days to shoot -- an eternity in the commercial business. It was also filmed on the Universal Studios lot. "I got chills just being there," she said. "A bell would go off to indicate that we were rolling -- just like in the movies!"

Let's hope Gronfield has even meatier experiences on studio lots in the near future.
