Minnesota actor Rich Sommer ("Mad Men") talks about his favorite ex-series, "Freaks and Geeks," now on DVD: "I had the chance to work with the show's creator, Paul Feig, when he directed an episode of 'Mad Men' and the experience got me curious. Why was that show canceled? It was smart, funny and poignant. Plus, it's like a who's-who of many of today's workingest actors. It almost makes me fond of those bittersweet times when I was a junior-high-aged nerd."
