The Minneapolis Department of Veterans Affairs plans a town-hall meeting for Monday, March 30.
The event will begin at 4 p.m. with a claims clinic sponsored by the Veterans Benefit Administration. A listening session with leaders of the Minneapolis VA Health Care System and the Veteran Benefit Administration will be held in the VA Medical Center's auditorium beginning at 5 p.m. The event will wrap up at 7 p.m.
Information booths and VA staff will be available from Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn; vet centers; suicide prevention; MyHealthEVet and caregiver support.
Parking is available in the veterans parking ramp at One Veterans Drive. Enter the facility through the visitor's entrance.
The event is open to veterans, their spouses, and the general public.
