Minneapolis police have arrested a woman suspected of stabbing to death another woman in a downtown parking ramp, police announced Friday.

Dargenella Deloris Wade was found fatally stabbed shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday inside the transit hub of Ramp A in downtown Minneapolis. Officers apprehended a woman soon afterward near the ramp but later determined she was "not the person we are looking for," said police spokesman Scott Seroka.

On Thursday night, police arrested a 21-year-old woman who was booked in jail on probable cause for murder. Two men were arrested at the same time for aiding and abetting.

"It is important to note that this was not a random incident; the case involves a fight between people who knew each other," police said, in a release. "The victim in this case was found in a downtown parking ramp, but the incident and the parties involved in it, have no connection to the ramp whatsoever."

The transit hub sits next to Target Center and near Target Field in the Warehouse District of downtown and serves motorists seeking parking places and municipal buses. It's also near the easternmost point for the light-rail lines.
