Deer will be the topic at the 28th annual Minnesota Deer Classic, which runs Friday through Sunday at the State Fairgrounds Coliseum Building.
A trick archery shooter, TV show celebrity hunters, about 250 commercial booths and lots of deer antlers are only some of the attractions.
Seminars are scheduled daily and hunters can have their deer antlers scored.
The Minnesota Deer Hunters Association will be collecting signatures on a petition to boost deer poaching penalties.
Hours are from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
