ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has issued a consumer advisory for some skim milk produced by a Forest Lake dairy.
The department says consumers should avoid drinking Autumnwood Farm brand skim milk in one-half-gallon glass bottles with a sell-by date of June 24.
A routine inspection found the milk had not been properly pasteurized.
Autumnwood Farm is contacting retail stores and restaurants and voluntarily recalling the product.
Customers who have the skim milk at home should return it to the store where they bought it.
Autumnwood Farm reports about 500 one-half gallons of the milk were produced. The sell-by date is located on the cap of the glass bottle.
The product is distributed mainly in the Twin Cities. No illnesses have been reported.
