With Monday's physicals and Tuesday's pictures out of the way, the Twins clubhouse was notably more relaxed this morning, if only partially occupied. The infielders had a meeting a half-hour before the day's regular workout, to work on signs, shifts, pickoffs and other minutia of the job.

We're in that second-week zone where everyone has settled in on a routine but the games haven't begun yet. First game is Saturday, up in Sarasota against Baltimore. The first televised game on Fox Sports North is nearly two weeks later, a March 8 game against the Red Sox in their JetBlue Stadium home.

The rest of that schedule, by the way: March 15 at Boston; March 21 at New York Yankees; March 23 at Tampa Bay; March 24 vs. Toronto; March 25 vs. St. Louis; and March 28 at Boston. The games on March 23-25 are at noon CT, and the rest are at 6 p.m. The first four games will be broadcast on FSN Plus, the network's alternate channel.

But that's a long way off. For now, the Twins are focused on live batting practice, which continues this morning. Today we'll see Mike Pelfrey again, plus Josh Roenicke and Rule 5 draftee Ryan Pressly. Check back here, and at La Velle E. Neal III's blog, Twins Insider, for updates.
