St. Thomas clinched at least a tie for the MIAC title with a 40-6 victory over Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday in St. Peter, Minn.

Alex Fenske passed for 289 yards and four TDs to lead the Tommies (9-0, 7-0 MIAC), who are ranked No. 4 in Division III, to their 22nd consecutive regular-season victory.

Fenske threw three TD passes in the first half as the Tommies opened a 26-3 lead at halftime.

The Tommies defense forced three turnovers by the Gusties and limited Gustavus (4-5, 2-5) to 128 yards in offense.

The Tommies close out the regular season next Saturday by hosting St. Olaf.

St. John's 42, Hamline 6: Dusty Krueger rushed for 97 yards and three TDs and caught a 34-yard TD pass to lead the host Johnnies (8-1, 6-1) past the Pipers. The No. 8-ranked Johnnies limited the Pipers to seven first downs and 94 yards in offense. The Johnnies gained 558 yards. The Johnnies close out the regular season next Saturday at Concordia (Moorhead). The Johnnies and Cobbers are tied for second in the MIAC.

Concordia (Moorhead) 42, St. Olaf 13: The Cobbers outscored the host Oles, 28-0, in the second half to pull away for the victory in Northfield. Chad Johnson rushed for 116 yards and two TDs and Michael Herzog for 112 yards and two TDs as well for the Cobbers (7-2, 6-1 MIAC), who rushed for 317 yards total. Johnson also caught a TD pass from Herzog, who was 13-for-17 passing for 111 yards. Khayleb Willis scored on TD runs of 2 and 67 yards in the first half for the Oles (2-7, 1-6).

Bethel 62, Augsburg 27: The Royals (4-5, 4-3 MIAC) pulled away in the second half to earn the victory over the host Auggies (2-8, 2-6). Bethel, after leading 35-27 at halftime, outscored the Auggies 27-0 in the second half. Jake Marsh passed for 217 yards and three TDs and Gunnar Bloom rushed for 188 yards and two TDs for the Royals.
