The Bethel football team remained unbeaten by rolling to a 55-6 MIAC victory over host Hamline on Saturday.

Erik Peterson passed for 282 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Royals (8-0, 6-0 MIAC), ranked fifth in the d3football.com poll. The Royals, who scored all five times they had the ball in the first half as they built a 34-6 lead, had 511 yards in total offense.

Naji El-Araby scored on a 67-yard TD run in the second quarter for Hamline (2-6, 1-6). Austin Duncan, the MIAC's leading rusher, rushed for 101 yards for the Pipers.

Concordia (Moorhead) 35, Carleton 27: The Cobbers, ranked No. 21, took over sole possession of second place in the conference with this victory in Northfield.

Griffin Neal passed for 216 yards and one touchdown and rushed for another score to lead the Cobbers (7-1, 5-1). They led 28-7 at halftime. Conor Lynch passed for 319 yards and a TD and John Baker rushed for three TDs for the Knights (4-4, 2-4).

Gustavus 23, St. John's 20 (2OT): Thomas Schleusener's 37-yard field goal in the second overtime lifted the host Gusties to a victory over the No. 22 Johnnies.

Schleusener's 28-yard field goal in the first overtime had given the Gusties a 20-17 lead. The Johnnies (6-2, 4-2) forced a second overtime on a 24-yard field goal by Alexi Johnson.

The Gusties (5-3, 3-3), who trailed 17-7 early in the third quarter, tied the score early in the fourth quarter on Schleusener's 39-yard field goal.

St. Thomas 17, Augsburg 14: Paul Graupner's 23-yard field goal with 1:21 left gave the Tommies, ranked No. 18, the victory over the host Auggies. Ayrton Scott's two TD passes helped Augsburg (4-4, 3-4) take a 14-7 lead into the fourth quarter.

The Tommies (6-2, 4-2) tied the score at 14-14 with 11:37 to play in the fourth quarter on Nick Waldvogel's 5-yard TD run and Paul Graupner's PAT.

Macalester 44, Trinity Bible 13: Samson Bialostok threw for 134 yards and two TDs to lead the Scots (3-5) over the Lions (1-9) from Ellendale, N.D.
