The Toronto Blue Jays made a big move before Friday's nonwaiver trade deadline, acquiring shortstop Troy Tulowitzki from Colorado, numerous media outlets reported Monday night.

Fox Sports, the Denver Post and the New York Post, citing unnamed sources, reported the deal, which had not been confirmed by the teams. Fox and the New York Post reported the Blue Jays were sending shortstop Jose Reyes to the Rockies. Fox reported Toronto also got 42-year-old former Twins reliever LaTroy Hawkins in the deal.

Tulowitzki, 30, has been an All-Star five times, including each of the past three seasons. But he has battled injuries throughout his career, playing in 91 games last year and only 47 in 2012.

Reyes, 32, is a four-time All-Star who also has battled injuries in recent years.
